Data-Driven School Improvement - Birmingham

Overview

We will be welcoming Jeremy Haigh, Associate Headteacher, Royds Hall High School to facilitate an interactive workshop on how to make use of innovative estimate data such as Jesson estimates and Fischer Family Trust data. Discover how through a series of conferences, students at Royds Hall identify their own potential in terms of estimated performance throughout Key Stage 4 qualifications. Take away valuable nuggets on how your students can plan their own intervention programmes and discuss ways to ensure they achieve their goals with a range of key staff and parents.

You will also hear from Sally Apps, Assistant Headteacher, Werneth School, who will show you how to analyse your school’s data to identify key vulnerable groups of students to aid successful intervention strategies.

  • Take away practical guidance on how to use assessment and student progress data to inform planning and intervention
