Outstanding Learning and Teaching - SOLD OUT - London

Overview

We are proud to welcome Rob Hubbleday, HMI, Ofsted, to give you an exclusive insight into the criteria on which learning and teaching will be judged from now on. Rob will show you how to use the grade descriptors to self-evaluate your school’s current practice, so you are able to demonstrate progress to Ofsted and continually improve learning and teaching at your school.

Dr Brian Male, Director of the Curriculum Foundation, will also be joining us to share the vision behind the national curriculum and show you how to use it to develop personalised learning. Brian will show you how to link learning initiatives together in a ‘joined-up’ curriculum, where thinking skills learnt in one lesson translate into raised attainment in the next.

Dan Buckley, Research and Development Lead at Cambridge Education, will also be running a keynote, in which he’ll reveal the latest research findings behind the change in government policy on learning and teaching. Dan will take you through the evidence dictating the present and future of pedagogy, and tell you which strategies to invest in if you want to make a real difference to pupil achievement.

✔ Foster independent learning alongside meeting performance targets
✔ Lead highly effective coaching that engages staff in raising pupil performance

Who should attend?
