Overview

We are delighted to welcome Zoe Elder, Gifted & Talented Learning Manager of North Somerset Council and former AST. Zoe will provide you with practical tips on how to develop PLTS to create quality learning experiences that enable students to access knowledge to create understanding.

You will also hear from Jackie Beere OBE, former Headteacher, education consultant and co-author of The Competency Curriculum Toolkit: Developing PLTS Through Themed Learning. Jackie will draw from her experience of over 15 years of teaching using the ideas behind PLTS to demonstrate how you can create cross-curricular PLTS links by fusing subjects into dynamic projects in a competency based curriculum.
