Working in Partnership to Safeguard Vulnerable Students - London

Overview

Anne Orton HMI, Divisional Manager, Ofsted will make clear inspection requirements for partnership working under the revised framework and show you how to bring your school’s safeguarding procedures in line with expectations.

You will also gain top legal advice from Sarah Erwin-Jones, Partner, Browne Jacobson LLP. Sarah will guide you through your legal responsibilities for information sharing and handling confidentiality so you can be certain of whom you can share information with and when – and when others should be sharing with you.

Return to your organisation confident you know how to access the right services and engage other professionals so they can support you and your school in providing outstanding protection for all your students.

This conference will provide both practical and legal guidance to help you:

  • Meet your legal responsibilities towards Working Together to safeguard and promote the welfare of your students
  • Achieve outstanding safeguarding through partnership working and understand the inspection criteria you will be judged against
  • Break down barriers to multi-agency working to ensure your students get the support they need
  • Make effective referrals and understand thresholds for a swifter response to safeguarding concerns
